Centre Stage Performance Series

Rope performance is an intense experience.

It demands the highest level of trust and solid understanding of your skill as a Shibari artist. Whether you are a bunny or a rigger the balance between letting your ego fly while keeping your sensibilities firmly grounded is an art in itself.

There is nothing more likely to bring rope partners together and moving as one than working together on a rope performance. Aleni De Viate has been performing as a Shibari artist for over a decade and brings her experience to this new workshop series.

Throughout this course you will be part of a supportive cohort that will help you brainstorm and conceptualise your own rope performance.

Aleni will discuss the elements of rope performance and give you practical advice and experience to develop your vision.

Numbers are strictly limited to 6 couples and workshops will include time for every couple to use the stage, lighting and sound system of Studio Kink for practice culminating into a recital that showcases your work. All performances will be considered for Studio Kink’s next Club Kinbaku show.
