Nawashi Kanna
Japanese Kinbakushi, Nawashi, Rope Artist, Torture Rope Master (Semenawashi), Mistress, and Performer of Cirque Shibari.
Akechi Denki had a profound influence on Nawashi Kanna during their formative years as a kinbakushi in the late nineties to early 2000’s. In 2002-2005 years, they collaborated a lot together and although their time together was short, it was a very prolific period in his life.
Nawashi Kanna was deeply affected by loss of their Master who passed away in 2005, and as such remained out of the public eye for a couple years. In 2010 they came back to rope and began a blog “Restarting from zero” and began performing and teaching again.
Before their official comeback, Nawashi Kanna taught a lot of Kinbaku lovers including professional mistresses and rope artists such as Osada Steve, Hajime Kinoko and Mistress Hibiki who play an active part globally. Together they have all helped spread his Kinbaku style to the younger generation, not only Japan but the rest of the world.
And now that they have returned to the rope scene, Nawashi Kanna teaches directly and shares their style to Kinbaku lovers in private tuitions or workshops all over the world.
Also known as Kanna Akechi, Mistress KANNA and Kanna Kawai.
