Presenter Announcement - Miss Gen

Miss Gen has been tying herself up since she was 5, and this fascination with bondage continues to this day. After seeing a bondage magazine in an Adult shop when she was 18 she discovered a name for what she was doing and the passion which would continue throughout her adult life was fuelled.

Miss Gen is known for her Energistic style of intimate rope which has evolved due to her previous studies as an Energy Healer. She envelops her play partner in a web of energy, enthralling audiences and making her play partner fly, even while on the ground. She considers herself a Rope Artist, not a Rigger, and together with her life-partners Georgia and –chewtoy- has performed her style of rope to critical acclaim both in Australia and Japan.

Miss Gen is a fluent speaker of the Japanese language due to living there during High School, and as well as teaching has acted as interpreter for the Sydney Rope Festival in 2013 & 2014, for Kazami Ranki and Nawashi Kanna during their Australian tours in 2015 & 2016, and has interpreted in Japan at Yoi Yoshida’s

event “O-Nawa 2014” where she also performed with both Georgia and -chewtoy- .

Her past influences and teachers include such Australian names as Mark DV8 from Sydney and __S__ from Melbourne, and such Japanese names as Nawashi Kanna, Bingo Shigonawa and Kazami Ranki.

In 2015 Miss Gen was appointed as an official Kazami-Ryu Instructor by Kazami Ranki and in 2018 she was named the Head of Kazami-Ryu Shibari throughout the Oceania region, and since then she has concentrated solely on deepening her knowledge of, and teaching of Kazami-Ryu. She teaches rope classes regularly at her South East Queensland venue, Evil Girls HQ, as well as regularly travelling interstate and overseas to teach students of all levels.

Presenter Announcement - Succubus and noxiousblossom

-succubus- and noxiousblossom

-succubus- has been tying for over eight years and has developed a style that is best described as organic and messy.

Focusing primarily on creating shapes that manipulate both body and emotion, rope is used more as a conduit for communication. Usually close to the floor, sometimes dynamic, always intense.

-succubus- has taught and performed in around Australia and New Zealand and is currently based in Melbourne AU and teaches and performs with her partner noxiousblossom. They have three cats and a flourishing succulent garden.

Presenter Announcement - Jake and Laced

Studio Kink is excited for our first (of many) announcement of presenters visiting and performing for OzBound 2019. Jake and Laced

image1 (1).jpeg

 Jake:

Jake started his rope journey slowly.

It was only when MissEvilGen opened formal training via Kazami-ryu in Queensland that he became serious about rope bondage. Dedication to this style of Shibari paid off when he became the first person in Oceania to graduate from Level 4 in Kazami-ryu.

In early 2018 Jake completed intensive training in Tokyo under Hajime Kinoko and was asked to become his teacher in Australia and in doing so became the first person outside of Japan to be officially certified to teach Kinoko’s beautiful style of shibari.

In June 2018 Jake and Laced opened Nawa Musubi where they teach Kinoko’s Ichinawa-kai curriculum, as well as collaborate with local riggers, models and artists for personal projects.

Jake and Laced recently returned from Tokyo where they performed at “Jyo-mon“ with other Ichinawa-kai alumni at Kabukicho DX .

 Laced:

Laced has been rope modelling since 2015, gaining experience over the last few years thanks to weekly classes, workshops and private lessons in Australia, and travelling to Japan to model for private intensives.

Laced has been learning to tie since late 2016. She loves the consistency of modelling for classes and workshops, and with her wealth of experience she assists in the running of Nawa Musubi, sharing knowledge and assisting models in particular as much as possible during classes.

Her major rope loves are twisted suspensions, bendy things and anything that can take her that little bit further in that moment in the rope.
